| AGM – WEDNESDAY 3 JUNE 6PM – THE GEORGIAN HOUSE ORANGERY
At last night’s well-attended AGM , President Andrew Eggleston presented his annual report and raised a number of crucial items, not least the all-important issue of connectivity.He also stressed that the Chamber welcomes members who wish to contribute by joining as co-opted members. He was pleased that Chamber is working closely with the States of Alderney to find solutions to current issues effecting the island’s economy and quality of life.

Treasurer Tony Haywood presented the accounts 2025 which show a £1,501.43 excess of income over expenditure.
As no new nominations had been submitted, the committee remains the same as in 2025.
Andrew Eggleston has been re-elected for the 21st consecutive year as President of the Chamber with Brendan Noone as Vice-President.
Chris MacGregor and Paul McCormick have been welcomed as new co-opted members.

Open discussions centred very much around connectivity by air and sea, the airport runway and finding a long-term and better solution to the issues of medevac which all agreed should not be part of Aurigny’s PSO.
The AGM was followed by a relaxing and enjoyable drinks party and closed just before 8pm.
