DRONE DELIVERIES TO ALDERNEY?
Alderney has never been adverse to innovation and progress and we have spearheaded several successful initiatives, e.g. online gaming etc..
We have been contacted by DragonFlyPads, a Paris-based company who would like to use Alderney as a platform for drone deliveries , initially between Cherbourg and Alderney.
As a result we are conducting a brief survey on behalf of DragonFlyPads, to evaluate the feasibility and potential demand for a small-package drone delivery service on the island.
The goal is to explore whether rapid, low-carbon aerial transit could help local businesses overcome transport bottlenecks, speed up emergency/urgent orders, and expand local reach.
This survey is aimed at Alderney businesses and will take less than 4 minutes to complete.
Your responses will help us understand real business needs and shape a service that works for our community. All responses will be collated directly by DragonFlyPads and kept strictly confidential and analysed in aggregate and we will be informed of the survey results and will share these with you.
